Kefir: How Much Should I Drink?


La Vie's Kefirs are one of the most potent probiotic drinks on the market boasting 30 billion probiotics per ounce. Depending on your situation serving sizes may differ.



Experiencing Digestive Discomfort

If you are experiencing digestive discomfort such as bloating, nausea, upset stomach, or indigestion  it is recommended that you consume half a bottle (6oz) of the Kefir drink, wait 4 hours, and consume the other half of the bottle. 


If you are backed up it is recommended that you consume the entire bottle of Coconut Kefir or Tropical Kefir. This is also one of the best drinks to consume if you are experiencing this situation.  

Maintaining a Healthy Gut

If you are trying to simply maintain your gut health and a healthy gut flora, it is recommended that you 2oz to 3oz of La Vie's Kefir.

System Cleanse 

If you are taking La Vie's Kefirs as a part of a cleanse serving sizes vary. Depending on your familiarity and experience with cleansing your ability to handle probiotics will vary. If you are a beginner cleanser, it is recommended that you consume no more than 4oz in a four hour period. If you cleanse often feel free to drink the entire bottle to flood your system. Another option is to consume 4oz once a day for three days for a more sustained cleansing.
